Message Well, that is an interesting blend of story items. 'Berry juice' would not retain bright color if buried or submerged. There is no way to 'age-test' wood to ca. 1650 CE unless it were sawed through and by some miracle some tree-rings could be matched with similar wood whose rings had been age-calibrated.
