Message Hello all, i’m looking for some help about a statue of a japanese monk, which is in my family for at least more than 100 years, i would like to know its origine, period, etc .Thank you. Patrick Description: monk seated in meditation Wood japanese hollow statue Height: 90 cm Width: 100 cm Depth: 70 cm Wood Both single pieces hollow head and body – Black encrusted eyes on little whites Lacquered (amber) colored head carved on the back with inscritions Mala of 108 b.
