Message Yixing teapots are often marked on inside of lid and sometimes also elsewhere. There have been some famous designer/potters whose marks have been faked. Important for determining age is patina, form and beauty of execution. If you post exact description (dimensions) and in-focus photos taken in natural light, including photo of mark and straight-on profile, someone may be able to help with assessment of when made.
