Message What you have here is a tomb epitaph. The calligraphy done by shallow drilling will record the details of the deceased. When/where born. Wife/children names. When deceased. Sometimes more details about the person's life is recorded. A very good indication of the age of the porcelain revealed by date of death. Can't read the writing but judging from the porcelain should be around mid 19th century. Post a Response |
