Message i think this is a print of a Ming era painting, though it also resembles works from a well known earlier set of lohan paintings dating from the Song dynasty, most of which are in Japan, with a few in Boston and a few more in Washington DC. the descending figure and the way the air/space is treated suggests to me that it's not Song but Ming, but on the basis of these photos I doubt it's an original work of art but as Cal suggests, a print. can you take better detailed photos?
