Message Hi Michael, The upper, or better ...right character reads right. This means there was also a left one and your vase was/is one of a pair. The other markings were probably meant to fit proper pairs together. Those kind of "fitting" markings were used a lot on Satsuma like ware from Kyoto (1920/1930's ?) Regards, Arjan Post a Response |
