Message Our little town rock shop gemstone tester put the needle in the middle of the emerald. Not sure what the stone is but its a hardstone. Hardness is up in a variety of the mineral beryl, way above quartz. More interested in "what they are" from a historical point then the gemstone categorization. Post a Response |
