Age of this bronze Buddha (Guanyin?)

Message
Can anyone tell me the age of this bronze figure of Guanyin - Avilokitesvara?

It measures 20.5" (not including the stand). Looks to me that the bronze is lacquered, but shows wear throughout.

The figure feels as though it is solid bronze or has a very thick casting.

Stand has pencil mark that reads 'New Base - 5-26-66'. The screws used to fasten the base to the bronze also look like they are from the 1960's, and there was sufficient dirt/dust that had collected for me to believe the pencil date is genuine...not someone's attempt to deceive me.

I'm thinking it is 17th c. due to the size and lacquer finish, but I'm not able to find an exact match.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Tim
