Re: Information about calligraphy and box |

Message The writing on the outside of the box is easy. It was a treasured item in the collection of He CunJia. 寶號 何村家藏。 My feeling is that this was a calligraphy done by a Buddhist priest of some note. The calligraphy is very strong, but hard to read. Guessing at some of the characters I get 四海界(something)無事, but I can't find any quotation involving these characters, so I could be barking up the wrong tree completely. Post a Response |
