Message I posted in the other forum with no luck so I apologize if this is the second time you see it. I picked up this pair of vases from a fairly prominent local figure and was wondering if anybody could tell me if they are authentic of the period or not? Longquan celadon glaze on hefty porcelain, hand done underglaze blue mark for Yongzheng period. With my limited knowledge every thing seems to be right, from the foot to the mark to the color to the design. I found a few examples of reproductions online but they didnt appear to be of this quality and the bottom was different with a typical seal style marking.
