Millefleur famille noire |
Posted By: Patrick Norton Posted Date: Jun 29, 2011 (12:15 PM) |
Message Need photo of tea set and six figure mark. Not being marked Kangxi period, does not mean they are fakes. Modern expert opinion holds that porcelain decorated with famille noire enamels were not made at all during the Kangxi period. In the late 19th century black ground, thousand flowers porcelain wares, Qing dynasty, were made with six figure marks. Without photos hard to say, but unmarked does not mean fakes. Thousand flowers, black ground, Qing dynasty copy of Kangxi period famille noire, is over 100 years old, your price seems fair. Post a Response |
