I have ben posting from time to time on the Forum and I respect and value your comments. I just went to an estate sale today. The estate belonged to a woman who taught in Vietnam. Her brother was an antique dealer out east. He died in the 70s. It's impossible to know where she got all these pieces. If you can help me a little with dating, periods, style I would be very appreciative. I have happened onto some very nice asian art and I love collecting but I don't know much about Chinese ceramics.
I am going to upload images to my Flickr, there are quite a few pieces, probably 25-30 pieces in all. The people that handled the estate knew NOTHING about Asian art.
