Dream of the Fisherman's Wife...this is driving me nuts. |

Message Living in the U.S. as I do, this work is somewhat controversial... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dream_of_the_Fisherman%27s_Wife I don't speak or read Japanese, and I need someone who can help me. The wikipedia article explains that the text in the work is saying something, but I don't know what. It's driving me nuts, I don't know why I'm fixated, but I just want to know what it says. For a modern day Japanese speaker, I imagine it must be somewhat like reading Shakespeare's language is to me, but I really need to know. Has there ever been a translation done? I really appreciate any help or any leads that I can get with this, it's been bugging me! I apologize in advance as the subject matter is somewhat controversial and may make some uncomfortable. My intention is not to offend anyone. I am just really wondering about this. Post a Response |
