Hi Rat,

That's kinda what I was trying to say but you were, how would I say, a little bit more to the point. I suppose the main point I'd like to get across is that many first time posters are not aware what basic minimum detail is required for someone like you to even consider venturing an opinion. For instance with ceramics and porcelain, one needs to post clear closeup images of the piece from all angles including closeups of any seal and also of the base and on this one many don't understand the importance of being able to see the base. Also a description of the condition and the dimensions also helps. These criteria are essential to making a basic evaluation and probably applies to most artifacts posted on this forum. Would it be a thought to have a guideline put together for first time posters which they can refer to before frustrating the people who bother to review and offer their knowledge to others.

PS: I have noticed this poster has listed this same seal mark on a couple of occasions under different identities, for what reason I'm unsure.

Anyway, I hope everyone has an enjoyable and rewarding day.

Gerry
