Message Sloppy carving of the zhuanshu characters and the apparent presence of lacquer on the piece are clues for me. Also the tusk is plugged here at the base with a piece that lacks matching circular grain, whereas most good carvers try to mask the presence of such plugs. Best regards, Bill H. Post a Response |
