Message Even without picture, can say huge numbers carved bookends made of soft stone, mostly alabaster, for gift, tourist and export from 1920s through 20th century. Can be easily dyed/colored in part. Are birds, horses, elephants, etc. Alabaster scratch very easy with needle, and if you put drop vinegar on bottom it will fizz. Good luck, Cal Post a Response |
