Thanks Rat, I agree about this painting being way old and someone went with newer high dollar conservative glass and matting; the frame looks hand chiseled. Only seen a couple base brown ochre color paintings in my lifetime. All the paint seems to be earth pigment. The scene is Star Trek related with vulcan spock pointed ear children carrying a tree for Shou Xin Gong. Big painting. Hoping for origin?
