Message I suggest this is a modern tourist market piece. The bottom surface contains the characters for GuangXu Jade seal, suggesting that it is an imperial seal for the GuangXu Emperor (1875-1908). 200% certain it isn't real. The two characters in the cartouche on the top of the side read DaQing - (the great Qing dynasty). But the photo is unclear, and I cannot read the other characters. The stone is most probably ordinary seal stone (pyrophillite), not jade. Post a Response |
