Bronze Foo Dog Edo Period Chinese Script... |
Posted By: Juan Posted Date: Jun 12, 2012 (10:05 AM) |
Message Hi! My father bought this bronze piece around 1970 in Boston. Aparently is a Foo Dog of chinese style, but it has some scripts on the base, I would love to have any help about the origin of the piece and what is written on it. Someone told my father that one of the symbols on the base was the one of Edo Period in Chinese, Not sure if that is correct. I would apreciate any help. Thank you. Post a Response |
