Chinese Porcelain Plaque |
Posted By: Tim Posted Date: Sep 27, 2012 (11:54 PM) |
Message This is a late 20th c. copy of a 19th c. / early 20th c. Chinese famille rose landscape plaque. The detail to the landscape in genuine pieces are crisp / sharp detail. Yours seems to follow the general aesthetic design, but the lines and details are too loose. I don't read Chinese, so I can't tell you what the writing says, but I will add that the calligraphy looks a bit sloppy. Post a Response |
