Qing-Republic Jar Query |
Posted By: David Posted Date: Nov 04, 2012 (06:41 AM) |
Message This query is directed to the Asian ceramic experts! I possess a supposed 5 3/8" high late Qing-Republic scroll and lotus pattern ceramic jar in excellent condition, which, unfortunately, is unmarked, however, I had said jar critiqued by 2 anonymous experts; since the critiques I had made an effort to sell the jar for a reasonable amount, with little success; from what I have seen on various private and auction sites, there are similar jars (some of which are also unmarked and, in some cases, less aesthetically appealing than mine, selling for decent amounts); I don't mean to sound biased but why would my jar be so unappealing! Puzzling! It is not like these jars are cluttering shelf space! Your opinion on this matter would be greatly appreciated! (Photos can be arranged!). Thank you for your time! David. Post a Response |
