Chikanobu Original Prints, Series? Publisher? Carver? |
Posted By: Charmaine Posted Date: Nov 30, 2012 (02:07 PM) |
Message I just purchased these at an exclusive estate, and took them out of their frames. These are definitely original woodblocks, and not reprints. Any ideas to the story behind these woodblock prints? They are on hand made paper, and I'm believe they are a triptych. I can't seem to find these prints anywhere online, so I don't know what series they may belong to and the age 1890's? I have several more pictures on my Photobucket page listed.
