Message Hard to tell from here. If you examine the colored areas with a magnifying glass and they are composed of small dots then it is a mechanical repro process. They could be printed from blocks. Look at the back of the print. If there is significant bleed-through of the inks then they were likely produced from blocks and the paper is about right. The reds used make me think a Meiji era or later printing. Cheers, Stan Post a Response |
