Message It is a real modern porcelain bowl, not attempting seriously to be a fake or reproduction of anything old. If you do internet search for Min Chenghua porcelains you will find a few examples showing you how distantly your bowl's decoration is inspired by premier porcelains of that time. 'Famille rose' is a Western collectors' term for group of very high quality porcelains decorated with predominance of opaque pink/rose enamels made from colloidal gold compound, in the middle 18th century to early 19th century.
