Message A six-character Xuande Emperor mark 大明 宣德年志 is written in the bottom. The Wucai decoration was invented in that time of Xuande period (1426-1435) and five-clawed dragons were reserved for the use of the imperial family. Glazing seems mellow. Is there visible black spots in the blue cobalt ? If so you, in my opinion, you have good chances to own a excellent antique. Cheers Post a Response |
