Japanese Heron Willow Watercolor or Wood Block Print

I picked this up today assuming that it is a watercolor. Although it could be a wood block.
It does have some slight texture over the birds and the vertical feather extending from their head is defiantly a brush stroke. It is on paper that has been mounted ( glued) on a pressed paper board. Sadly the painting is a bit rippled. Anyway I have re-searched woodblock and watercolors from Japan and all of them have a red chop mark or seal under the black words. AS you can see with mine there are only two characters and no red seal. Does this indicate anything? Can you please tell me what the marking say? Is actually Japanese? From what you see do you think is is an original watercolor? Another issue is that I am unable to find anywhere a matching painting like this.. There are some similar that are woodblocks. Any information will be greatly appreciated! ( please disregard the price that I have on it on my website I had to put in a price in order to post)
