Message I believe that signature may read 'Morikiyo' Ga - the Ga simply means 'drawn', the print-makers equivalent of 'Saku', meaning 'made'. Could be wrong on this as I went for a straight translation and Ukiyo artists often chose obscure pronunciations for standard kanji. Post a Response |
