Re: identify kutani mark on sake set |

Message The Kutani mark reads down and across from the top right as "Kutani Eiraku", with the Eiraku kilns being some of the more famous in the Kutani area. When in use as intended, the bird atop the tokkuri or sake dispenser, as well as the fluted parts on the drinking cups, all emit a whistling sort of trill. Best regards, Bill H. Post a Response |
