Hello all! Hope everyone is well.

Recently at an auction I bought a lot and found a few LARGE awesome bamboo fans and a few long, painted scrolls. These are very nicely made, and seem to be fairly old. However, I'm not sure of anything. If they are Japanese or chinese, whether they are real, are they worth anything, etc.

There are signatures on the fans and scrolls that are painted. They are painted beautifully. A few of the fans are blank and ready to be painted on. Which makes me think maybe these were owned by an artist and just didn't get to them yet.

However, I THINK that a lot of, if not all of the signatures are different. A few of them also have a red square with characters inside, alongside the signature.

These are nicely made scrolls and fans. A maple colored bamboo as the wood parts. There no throw away crappy made items.. I've been trying to goofle both the scrolls and fans, but i cant find any like these. Remember, the fans are like 50-60" wide when opened up, and the scrolls are like 6-8 feet long.

I included as many pictures as I could, and I made a few of the different signatures into one photo so I can put it on here. I have many more scrolls and fans. They came in boxes, which I can post up upon request if that will help.

If any one can shed some light on these, please do so! I'm looking to find out if they are Japanase or Chinese, if they are done by a known artist or some random person, and if they are worth anything. Please let me know!

Great, this site won't let me upload the photos! If ANYONE might have any clue about what I have or is interested, please let me know your email and I will email the pictures to you! Please help! Thanks.
