Re: Identify Chinese porcelain plate

Your late 20th century or subsequent Chinese-style transfer-decorated plate has an apocryphal stamped-on mark of "Made during the Qianlong Reign" (Qianlong Nian Zhi) on its base (shown upside down). I say "Chinese-style", because factories in other parts of Asia have the wherewithal to produce similar decorative porcelains, sometimes using Chinese blanks.

Best regards,

Bill H.
