Kaiawase Shells

I am looking for any information on some Kaiawase Clam shells I have. I have ten hand painted shells or five pairs painted with gold flake and I am told they are pretty old. They are in incredible shape. All I have is a typed story with them on the “Origin of the Hamaguri Clam” by Natsuko Baba from Ikebana International in an envelope dated from 1975. I would sincerely appreciate any help, advice or direction someone might have to offer on their time era and possible value. I have seen where pairs similar to mine have sold for $400-$800 in auctions.
