Help with identification

Strikes me as a modern Japanese (mounting, calligraphic style, seal) decorative picture imitating Chinese Ming academy painters of magpies such as, eg:

Not sure why the Japanese would be producing these but neither the calligraphy nor seal seem to refer to a Wang Wu.
