Not too many posts on Japanese studio pottery, but I'm hoping that someone recognizes the style and/or marks on this piece. Style looks familiar, but I don't have any good reference material for 20th c. Japanese potteries.
Can anyone offer some help on the artist?
The vase is large, 21" tall x 16" wide. Artist mark on the side just above the foot rim and a mark w/ decorative element on the base.
