Message The big auction houses have high thresholds as to what they will take....typically $5,000 or higher for the low estimate, but their estimates are so conservative that unless your piece is $10,000 or more in value, they will often pass on it. I've only recently tried a Chinese auction house...I'll update you on how things turn out in November. I also sold through Henry Butcher auction in Malaysia....very professional. Your welcome to share privately with me photos of anything you are looking to sell.
