Chinese painting of crane & prunus - Artist?

I'd appreciate some help with the artist name. A friend of mine spoke the name to me, but was not able to write it in pinyin. It sounded like Chou YuXing, but I can not find an artist by this spelling and I've likely wrote the name incorrectly.

Date looks to be Yi Chou (1925, 1985). Paper looks of good quality and the brush strokes are strong, but there seems to be a blend of styles...a little Qi Baishi mixed with Xu Beihong...perhaps a later artist emulating their works?

This painting came as a set of 2, the other depicting an eagle in a pine tree....actually a much nicer painting in my opinion. I'll post if there is interest.

Thanks for the help.
