Help with Rare Chinese Polychrome Tulip Vase |
Posted By: Elke Posted Date: Jan 05, 2016 (09:47 AM) |
Message Hello, I would be very pleased to get your humble opinion about this tulip vase: It is 24cm/10,3 inch high, weight is 1475 gramm. The basic colour of the pottery is somewhat gray- or blueish, like goose-egg-shell-colour, not white. The coloured enamels are shiny-translucent, apart from the red-orange tone, which seems more powder-like and has no glaze/shine. What can you tell to the probable age of the vase, and the meaning/theme of the pictures. What could it be worth? Thank you very much. Elke, Germany |
