Help with Rare Chinese Polychrome Tulip Vase |
Posted By: Tim Posted Date: Jan 06, 2016 (08:40 AM) |
Message Very nice! I am sure more experienced members will offer a precise translation of the mark and advise you as to what degree your vase can be described as 'rare'. Although the famille verte style could be as old as Kangxi period (17-18th c), the use of a mark is not typical for that period, the porcelain would be much more white, and the foot rings would not be so gritty and rough. I think it is 19th c., but nevertheless quite beautiful. Post a Response |
