Message By definition if it is a copy of something there must be a similar form it is imitating, but although the round upper body recalls some Tang vessels, the overall shape and large loop at the top have no precedent that I know of, certainly not in a sancai glaze. That and the appearance of the glaze itself suggest to me this is an invented decorative piece made within the last few decades. Post a Response |
