Bobtail cat Satsuma - Help with impressed mark

Message
I'm not normally drawn to Moriage style Satsuma pottery due to its over commercialization during the early 20th c. However, this piece seems to be above the norm despite having some condition issues.

I'm wondering if anyone recognizes the impressed gourd shaped mark which I found on the bottom of the covered jar.

Is this considered a koro even though it is has no legs?

The vessel was potted to look like a covered pot with a handle that is in a resting position on one side of the mouth of the vessel.

I've looked around on the Internet...lots of examples with ShiShi dogs as finials, but none as a bobtail cat.

I appreciate any feedback on this piece.

Thanks,
Tim
