Sung Dynasty Bowls. |
Posted By: Linda Boone Posted Date: Jun 16, 2016 (04:17 PM) |
Message I have 2 plain, grey bowls purchased in 2004 from an antique store in Florida. I was told that they were from the Sung Dynasty and am trying to confirm whether they are authentic or not. They measure about 6" x 1-1/2 to 2" deep. The bowls are not identical. Some iron is showing through the glaze and there is some minor chipping on the bottom of the base/foot. Similar bowls on eBay stated that those were grey celadon from Sung Period. Any idea age, authenticity, value? Additional photos will be uploaded in a future reply as per instructions. Thanks Post a Response |
