Nels,

Both the signature and seal do read 光久 (Mitsuhisa).

The okimono is not dated but IMO, the somewhat overwhelming style and the use of silver, are indications for the late Meiji to early Taisho period (c. 1910-20). The similar piece that you mention is dated Taisho period.
