A Chinese Tang dynasty phosphatic glazed vase

A Lushan 'phosphatic' oviform vase with short flared neck and two lug handles, covered in a thick opaque black glaze over which there are blueish white splashes and streaks, the glaze finishing well above the foot on one side to reveal the grey stoneware body. Tang dynasty, 8th/9th century, Henan province.
