Robert Kanner Asian Art specializes in the fine art, folk art, and furniture of South-East Asia. In my numerous trips to the region, I have done my best to obtain unique pieces of the highest aesthetic qualities.
I have dealt in fine Japanese and Chinese antiques as an adjunct to my rare book business for over twenty years. While in SE Asia collecting materials for an institutional client several years ago, I developped a deep respect and affection for the peoples and cultures I encountered.
