Dr.Warth has been involved in the collection and sale of rare Japanese textiles for the last 19 years, after having lived many years in the American Embassy in Japan. The Textile Art Collection (TTAC) has provided textiles throughout the world to premier Japanese antique stores,galleries, speciality catalogues and museums. In addition to lectures given at the request of the Japanese Consul General in Anchorage, TTAC has also presented at the Southeast Museum Directors Show, an invitation only screening.
Dr. Warth's article on "The Evolution of the Japanese Haori" appeared in The Arts of Asia magazine in the July/August 2006 issue. TTAC appears annually at the Arts of Pacific Asia Show in San Francisco during the first weekend of February. |
