Passionate sinologists, we have lived, studied and travelled in Asia over the last 30 years. Our research concentrated on Oriental culture and classical art with two specific interests in Buddhist sculpture and Chinese scholar objects. We have studied the traditional cultures of the various ethnic groups of this vast region and more specifically their beliefs, myths and artistic expressions. In archeology, our concentration has been on crosscultural influences. We are interested in art that reflects a vision of the world close to nature and the spirits that animate it. |
