Detail: Inside of silver bowl The bowl is decorated with a large band with patterns of birds and mythical beasts. A double eight-pointed star symbolizing the sun is engraved in repoussé technique on the interior base. This piece can be compared with a similar one published in the 1095's by Olov R.T. Janse. |
