I grew up in a family who were intrigued by Chinese art and Asian cultures, and my favorite course in college focused on the art and culture of Central Asia. After many years of travel my interests are in the art of China, Tibet and Central Asia. My interests are toward decorative art, more than religious figures.I have enjoyed valuable collegial relationships with museums and scholars over the years. My greatest interests are Asian textiles, Chinese lacquer and metal objects.This has been a challenging period for us all, of restricted travel and interaction. It was a good period for study, but it is wonderful to see the world emerging from it. |
