Subject:Chinese Scroll
Posted By: Chinese Scroll - this time with working pictures Mon, Apr 21, 2025 IP: 217.251.81.119

Any help translating and identifying the seal of this scroll would be appreciated. It is from an estate of an artist who died years ago.
With the help of AI I was able to translate the text (春满人间" (chūn mǎn rén jiān)), but I couldn't identify the artist and seal. Thanks for your help.

Dear Friend,

I am not entirely certain, but as an African-Brazilian Japanese student (currently in the early stages of Mandarin studies), the phrase 春游人朋 - 辛未年写 (chūn yóu rén péng - xīn wèi nián xiě) strikes me as:
"Spring Outing with Friends — Painted in the Year of Xinwei (1991)." - "Xinwei" also could mean 1931, but the general features of the painting appear to be more recent. And to finish, just a curiosity, the standard term for "friends" is 友人 (yǒu rén) or 朋友 (péng yǒu), but I assumed that the 人朋 rén péng must be a poetic or ancient form to say the same thing.

Thank you for post it,
Renato Araújo

春満人間
辛未年寫
ca. The human world is filled with the spirit of spring
Painted in the Year of Metal-Sheep (1991)
Seal,
楊建軍印 Seal of Yang Jianjun

There are quite a few contemporary painters with the same surname and given name listed on Chinese websites, but not enough of their works to make a judgment.
(Given name Jianjun 建軍 "founder of army" -
was often given to boys born in the era of Mao Zedong and his immediate followers)

With regards,
I.Nagy
