Can you help me translate title and the text (poem?) on the top of this Kuniyoshi print for the Kusatsu station of the tokaido?

草津
延喜八年秀郷は勢田の橋を過るに龍婦女と化して　三上山の百足を亡し給はれと願ふ よって秀郷かの蚣を射る　すなはち其恩として龍宮へ伴ひ　あまたの寶をおくる。

Kusatsu
In the 8th Year of Enki*,when crossing the Seta Bridge, Hidesato** was asked by the Dragon Princess to slay the centipede of Mikamiyama turned into Dragon Princess that was blocking the crossing. Hidesato shot the centipede. Then, she (the real Dragon Princess) accompanied him to the Ryūgū Palace to give him many treasures as a token of her gratitude.
