Preface to the Plum Blossom Heart Divination Numbers
On an Auspicious Day of August of the 20th (Water-Sheep) Year of the Kan'ei Era (1643)

The Plum Blossom Divination is an ancient Chinese calculation method based on the Yijing (易經).
Shao Kangjie (邵康節）invented this divination metheod during the Song Dynasty. It does not require coins, yarrow stems, dice, tortoise shells or any other objects as tools to produce gua (卦）. Instead they use the mind,images and numbers.
